After the half term rush, we're able to find time in between our trips to get some jobs done in the Boatshed ready to welcome our Summer visitors. We will hopefully have some exciting news to share with you very soon, but meanwhile we thought you would all like to know about some of the little 'extra' things available - we have some beautiful prints for sale by (very) local Artist Gillie Harris. One of them records a lovely scene at Lerryn (where our Creeks & Backwaters trip stop) getting a sailing boat ready, another is of a cheeky gull on a buoy, and also a print of the Old Fish Cellar on the way to Fowey. There are some lovely photographic cards of our wildlife, taken by Karen, and some of her designs of our kayaking trips, plus a few original digital prints, along with a little photographic book of the Birds of the River Fowey. There is now this season's honey for sale by David's beehives, and some lovely handpainted, and handmade scarves and bags by Karen, most of them silk. We are also stocking a selection of local publications,so pop in and see us if you are passing - you may want to stay for the trip!
