Practical Information
Departure times
Please arrive 30 minutes early for your session.
Our Kayak & SUP departure times vary daily, as we paddle with the tides, so please check your booking time.
We will contact you if the weather isn’t going to be suitable to paddle, we will aim to get you out on the water whenever possible.
Equipment
All hire, tours and sessions includes buoyancy aids.
Kayak: All hires and tours include kayak, paddle. We provide a full river briefing, information on tide times and help with journey planning. We loan you a river map and can supply dry bags if required.
SUP: All sessions include board, paddle and leash.
SUP boards are allocated based on size and experience.
Clothing
Kayak: Please dress for the weather, shoes will get wet, waterproof leggings and/or a dry jacket are recommended.
SUP: Wetsuits are recommended for all sessions.
Wetsuits & boots are available to rent, you can book these in advance.
Children
Kayak: Children under 16 should share a double kayak with an adultor older child, as long paddles can be tiring.
SUP: We do not allow children under 8 on SUP boards, and cannot share with an adult.
Dogs
We welcome dogs on kayaks! Larger dogs need their own seat and must share a double kayak. Smaller dogs can sit on laps, but you must paddle independently.Sorry no dogs on SUP boards.
